The Tomahawk Deluxe Drive has a purposeful EQ shift that puts it squarely in tweed-style tonal territory. This beauty barks and snarls but can also lean back and simply shift your tone just a bit. The touch-sensitive, dynamic response recreates the classic pushed-tweed sound found on albums across many genres.

Volume, Drive, and Treble controls keep operation simple. The Treble knob helps dial in that perfect tweed-style tone. Inside, a TL072 op amp drives red LED clipping diodes for the characteristic saturation.

At 9V, it compresses slightly like big box tweed amps while maintaining some stiffness. At 18V, headroom increases and the feel becomes more stiff in a lovely way. The Tomahawk lives to be stacked, working exceptionally well as a second gain stage pushed harder.

Useful as a semi-clean boost, always-on tone massager, or maxed-out lead boost that kicks through the mix. Hand-built in Athens, Georgia.
