Alpine
Dual reverb based on Sky Pedal Cloud 9. Shift footswitch, trails, effects loop, five knobs.
JHS built the Alpine around the Sky Pedal Cloud 9 reverb circuit—a design that Sky Pedal founder Jim Coleman made available to JHS when he left the pedal business. The Alpine represents JHS's evolution of that platform with dual footswitches and expanded functionality.
The Shift footswitch provides instant switching between two reverb settings—your normal reverb level and an alternate setting controlled by the dedicated Shift knob. This enables dramatic reverb transitions on the fly. Buffered bypass creates trails that gradually fade when you disengage the pedal instead of cutting abruptly. An internal switch toggles to true bypass if you prefer immediate cutoff.
Reverb, Highs, Depth, Length, and Shift knobs provide comprehensive control. The Highs control functions as high-pass filter for tonal shaping. An effects loop via TRS splitter cable enables inserting other pedals into the reverb circuit. At 100mA draw, it powers the expanded feature set. Forgotten circuit, renewed.
