ARP-87
Four-algorithm delay (digital/analog/lo-fi/slap) with tap tempo and trails mode in compact form.
The ARP-87 packs four distinct delay algorithms into a pedalboard-friendly enclosure: Digital for pristine crystal-clear repeats, Analog for warm bucket-brigade-style tones, Lo-Fi for degraded and filtered echoes, and Slap for classic rockabilly slapback.
Unlike many delay pedals, the ARP-87 uses tap tempo exclusively for setting delay time, with a ratio knob selecting subdivision (quarter, dotted eighth, or eighth notes). This tap-centric approach keeps the playing experience musical and intuitive. Maximum delay time reaches 1000ms.
The X knob changes function per algorithm—controlling modulation depth in Digital, Analog, and Slap modes, while adjusting filter width in Lo-Fi. Trails mode lets the delay naturally decay when bypassed. Momentary bypass and momentary X-ramp features add performance flexibility. A hidden fifth algorithm rewards the curious explorer.
