The Gearbox was developed with Andy Wood, a Nashville session player known for genre-spanning versatility. The overdrive needed to work in any musical context—country, rock, blues, fusion—and adapt to different guitars and amps.

Volume, Gain, and Tone controls handle basic shaping. Additional voicing options expand the tonal range. The circuit responds dynamically to playing intensity while maintaining clarity across all gain settings.
