Plexi-Drive

The Plexi-Drive captures the legendary Marshall Plexi amplifier sound—the crunchy breakup, touch sensitivity, and harmonic richness of a JTM45 or Super Lead cranked to the sweet spot. Brian Wampler's original 2006 design launched his pedal company.

Volume, Gain, and Tone controls shape the basic sound. Bass Boost switch adds the low-end thump of a 4x12 cabinet. The circuit responds dynamically to picking attack, cleaning up when you roll back your guitar volume.

True bypass preserves signal integrity when off. The Plexi-Drive works into clean amps to add authentic British crunch or stacks with other pedals for more complex tones. It's the Marshall-in-a-box that established Wampler's reputation.
