The Plexi-Drive Deluxe expands the Marshall-in-a-box concept with comprehensive tone shaping. A three-band active EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble) replaces the single tone control. Bass Boost and Bright switches add further voicing options.
The one-knob pre-gain boost mimics a green overdrive with pronounced mids—perfect for pushing leads into creamy saturation. Engage it with a soft-click switch for mid-pushed solos. The main drive section covers everything from vintage '68 Plexi to full JTM-45 roar.
True bypass with relay switching ensures clean signal path. At $239, it's an excellent Marshall stand-in for backline gigs or players without access to real Plexi amps.
